申请人注意
由2008年9月16日起， 办理车辆登记，新领学习驾驶执照、正式驾驶执照、驾驶教师执照、临时驾驶执照、车辆牌照、续领正式驾驶执照、车辆牌照和免试签发正式驾照执照申请，以及更 改地址。申请人必须出示最近三个月发出的地址证明（如水、电、煤气单或银行信件等）。本署会在收到申请人的地址证明前，暂停处理该等申请。
Attention by Applicants
With effect from 16 September 2008, applicants are required to produce address proof issued within the last 3 months (e.g. water/electricity/gas bill and bank correspondence) when applying for the Registration of Vehicle, First Issue of the Learner’s Driving/ Full Driving Licence/ Driving Instructor’s Licence/ Temporary Driving License/ Vehicle Licence, Renewal of Full Driving Licence/ Vehicle Licence, Direct Issue of Full Driving Licence and Change of Address. Transport Department will suspend the processing of the above applications until the production of address proof.

其他民间机构根据非美国签发的本土驾照签发的多年有效的国际驾照均属非法。根据国际陆路驾驶规定，国际驾驶执照的有效期不得超过1年。

Consumers experiencing problems should report problems to their local office of the U.S. Postal Inspector, Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Better Business Bureau, or their state or local Attorney General’s Office.

The driving entitlement(s) applied for must be equivalent to the class(es) which are authorized to drive by the issuing country or place.
Satisfy any one of the requirements listed below:
(a) have resided in the overseas country or place of issue for a period of not less than six months during which the licence was issued; or
(b) have held the licence for 5 years or more immediately prior to the application; or
(c) hold a passport or equivalent travel document of the country or place in which the licence was issued.
